Anti-Skid High Friction Surfacing

This standard relates to the application of specialised road surface treatments designed to significantly increase skid resistance.

High friction surfacing, often applied in areas prone to skidding such as approaches to junctions, sharp bends, or pedestrian crossings, uses a durable resin binder and aggregate to create a highly textured surface.
