W009R warning sign

The Irish road sign warning of a side road on the outside of a bend.

W009R is a warning sign in the Irish Traffic Signs Manual indicating a side road joining on the outer side of a bend — a layout that hides the junction from an approaching driver. Warning signs of this class are placed in advance of the hazard so a driver unfamiliar with the road receives the information the geometry itself conceals.
